first of three boys of Neville and Yvonne Nicholls. Stephen is a financial
analyst and Christopher
an oncologist, while Philip followed in the
footsteps of his father in becoming an attorney-at-law. His mother was
a teacher for many years at the former
Girls Foundation and Oueens
College, and was on staff at the University of the West Indies when

Alvin Cummins was born in Barbados in 1933 and attended Combermere Boys' School. He left the island in 1958 to attend Harpur College of the State University of New York (SUNY) on a tuition waiver where he studied for a Bachelor's degree with a Major in Biology. Upon completion he trained for his Diploma in Medical Technology.

Chelston Whitley Da Costa Brathwaite is a national of Barbados. He is a graduate of St. Matthew's Elementary School and the Modern High School, Barbados and holds a B.Sc.
